1. Bookings and Payment

• All bookings must be made in advance.
• A booking is confirmed once full payment has been received.
• Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
• By booking a session, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Cancellations by You

• Cancellations made more than 7 days before the session: full refund or transfer to another date.
• Cancellations made 24 hours to 7 days before the session: 50% refund or transfer to another date (subject to availability).
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session: no refund (although if it is the first time you have cancelled, we will endeavour to transfer your booking to another date, subject to availability).

3. Cancellations or Changes by Surefoot Navigation
   We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a session due to:

• Severe weather
• Safety concerns
• Insufficient participant numbers
• Instructor illness
  
  In these cases, you will be offered:

1. A full refund, or
2. The option to transfer to another date

4. Weather Policy

• Sessions will run in most weather conditions, including rain and wind.
• Sessions will only be cancelled if conditions are deemed unsafe (e.g. high winds, storms, extreme rain conditions).
• It is your responsibility to bring appropriate clothing and equipment for the weather.

5. Participant Responsibility
   Participants must:

• Complete the Participant Information Form before the course
• Follow all safety instructions given by the instructor
• Act responsibly and considerately towards others
• Inform us of any relevant medical conditions in advance
• Wear appropriate clothing for outdoor activities

You are responsible for ensuring you are physically able to take part in the session, which will involve a fair amount of walking.

6. Behaviour
   We want all our courses to be supportive, relaxed and friendly environments. As such, we reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour:

• Poses a risk to themselves or others
• Is disruptive or inappropriate

No refund will be given in such cases.

7. Liability

• Outdoor activities carry inherent risks. By participating, you accept these risks.
• Surefoot Navigation will take all reasonable steps to ensure your safety but cannot eliminate all risks.
• Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

8. Personal Property

• Participants are responsible for their own belongings during sessions.
• Surefoot Navigation accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal items.

9. Media Consent

• Photographs or videos may be taken during sessions for marketing purposes.
• The lawful basis for this is legitimate interests (promoting the business).
• If you prefer not to appear in any media, you may opt out at any time by notifying us before or during the session.

10. Data Protection
    Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Personal information provided at booking will be used only for:

• Managing your booking
• Communicating important information about your session

Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

11. Changes to Terms

• Surefoot Navigation reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
• The latest version will always be available on the website.
